Our branch is chaired by Philip Smith. We represent Reform UK locally, listen to residents and support people who want to help in their ward.
Chelmsford City Council has 57 seats across 24 wards. Reform UK currently has two elected councillors on the council; candidates for other wards are being selected.

A message from Philip Smith
Chelmsford is a city that works hard and pays its way — and residents across our 24 wards are entitled to ask what they are getting back for it.
Reform UK now has two elected voices on Chelmsford City Council: Cllr Jacob Armstrong in Little Baddow, Danbury and Sandon, and Cllr Paul Clark in Rettendon and Runwell. They are there to ask the questions that have gone unasked for years — about spending, about development, and about what happens to this city when the council is abolished in 2028.
We are now building a full slate of candidates for every ward, from Marconi and Moulsham to Writtle and the Hanningfields. If you want to stand, help on the doorstep, or simply tell us what needs fixing in your street, please get in touch.
